Paula Lu, a distinguished Sydney-based pianist, is celebrated for her musical prowess and diverse repertoire. Having studied under the guidance of esteemed mentors such as Natalia Ricci, Paul Rickard-Ford, Katerina Makarova, Natalia Sheludiakova, and Neal Peres Da Costa during her Bachelor of Music (Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Paula has honed her skills to perfection.

Her performances span a wide spectrum, including solo, concerto, chamber, choral, and orchestral works, captivating audiences at prestigious venues including the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Town Hall, and 2MBS FM. Paula has showcased her artistry locally and internationally, having performed throughout China and Canada. Her solo endeavors have featured renowned concertos, including the Grieg Piano Concerto with the touring Hunan Symphony Orchestra, the Liszt Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Penrith Symphony Orchestra, and the Chopin Piano Concerto No. 1 and Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Ku-ring-gai Philharmonic Orchestra.

Paula's exceptional talents have been recognized through various accolades, including being a prize winner in the 38th National Liederfest in Victoria. This achievement granted her a scholarship to study art song, poetry, and collaborative performance techniques at the esteemed Schubert Institute in Austria. She has also shone as a finalist in prestigious competitions like the John Allison Piano Scholarship, Ku-ring-gai Secondary Schools Concerto Competition, and the Yamaha Youth Piano Competition.

Beyond her role as a soloist, Paula is highly sought after as an accompanist, showcasing her versatility as an associate artist at the Rising Stars program. Passionate about the arts in all its forms, Paula's interests extend to dance and visual arts, reflecting her holistic approach to creativity and expression.
