Strings
All string lessons are personalised and directed by Mark Ingwersen and Ilya Isakovich. All students admitted to SSMFA are eligible for biannual assessments, during which Mark and Ilya provide comprehensive written feedback. Should a teacher perceive insufficient or significant progress, alternative arrangements for the student's development may be considered.

Keyboard
Specialist Keyboard Studies Programs are personalised and designed lessons, only for those students who are enrolled into Dr Natalia Andreeva's programs (taught by her, or by Junior teachers under her supervision and compulsory assessments and Masterclasses). All other keyboard students are taught by the school's assistant teachers. We often recommend all young beginners to begin their musical journey with piano. Similarly, biannual evaluations will be available and progression arrangements may be suggested.
Lesson Structure
All lessons are modelled after the following structure:
- Weeks 1-9: Normal lessons with selected tutor
- Week 10: (for those with advanced teachers) Private masterclass with expert tutor (e.g. Mark, Natalia, Rachel, Frank) for students and their parent(s) only
- Week 10: End of term concert
