Sandra Ismail, a highly accomplished clarinetist, achieved her B.Mus in Music Performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2014, studying under the renowned Frank Celata. Her passion for music education took root in 2009, and since then, Sandra has been a dedicated clarinet instructor, catering to students of all ages and skill levels.

In 2015, Sandra's musical journey reached new heights as she secured the prestigious role of solo clarinet with the NSW Police Band. Simultaneously, she embarked on a transformative one-year fellowship with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, elevating her skills and enriching her musical experiences.

In 2017, Sandra made a pivotal decision to resign from the NSW Police Band, redirecting her focus towards a flourishing career in orchestral performance and clarinet education. Her commitment to nurturing talent spans from guiding beginners to mentoring hobby players, with a proven track record in preparing students for AMEB grades 1 through to Certificate of Performance.

Beyond her educational endeavors, Sandra finds immense joy in the orchestral realm, regularly gracing the stages with Opera Australia and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Currently, Sandra imparts her wealth of knowledge at esteemed institutions, including International Grammar School, Moriah College, Ashbury Public School, and Ferncourt Public School.

At the youthful age of 23, Sandra Ismail not only boasts an impressive academic and orchestral background but continues to make indelible contributions to the vibrant tapestry of the musical landscape.
